The Location

Overlooking Plymouth Sound, with uninterrupted sea views towards Cornwall and the River Tamar. Fabulous sunsets, coast walks (located on the SouthWest Coastal footpath) and beaches. Situated the the beautiful South Hams, within easy reach of the historic maritime city of Plymouth, Dartmoor, Cornwall, (just across the River Tamar either by water on the ferry to Torpoint or the roadbridge crossing alongside Brunel’s iconic rail bridge),  it is a perfect location whatever your interests. 

The Property

Our own holiday retreat, number 64, is one of 84 privately owned chalets situated in Bovisand Park. Most are owner occupied and there is a friendly but tranquil atmosphere. On site there is a cafe and small shop, and there are pubs and other amenities  in the villages close by.

The chalet is immaculately presented comprising:  two bedrooms,  a bathroom with a generous electric shower, and a lounge/ dining kitchen area overlooking the patio and Plymouth  Sound.

The kitchen: fully equipped for meal preparation and presentation.  Full sized double oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge and deep freeze.

Please  note – towels and tea towels are not provided but the following are:  loo  rolls, soap, washing up liquid and other cleaning  materials.  There is an iron and ironing board.

The lounge/ dining area:  two seat sofa and two arm chairs, TV with free view and DVD player,   dining table for 4, with additional seating of 3 sun loungers and a patio dining set for 4.

The bedrooms: bed linen provided,  wardrobe, drawer storage and additional blankets.

Heating: electric oil filled radiator.

Fire alarm/smoke detector and a fire blanket and extinguisher in the kitchen area.
