Smythan Manor Torrington

About the Property

Smytham Manor holiday park is set in 33 acres of woodland and grassed areas. It is a small site of mobile homes, lodges and camping.

3 Smytham Manor, Can house 6 people.  There is 1 double bedroom, 1 twin room and a sofa bed in living room. It can accommodate a travel cot in the double room. (If a travel cot is required please notify us at time of booking)

The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower.

The kitchen has everything you require for your stay. In the kitchen there is a 4 ring gas cooker, grill and oven. We have provided a toaster, kettle and microwave. There is also a panini machine.

In the front room there is a dining area for up to 6 people on bench seats and a table. (If you require a highchair please let us know at time of booking).  A L-shaped sofa area which turns into a double sofa bed. All the curtains and sofa covering has been newly decorated. There is also a T.v with freeview and a gas fire.

The outside area consists of a parking space. A patio area with chairs, table and a parasol. There is a large coal bbq. ( If used please clean when cooled). There is also a decking area that runs alongside the caravan that has a gate for security for dogs and children.

We do allow dogs at a charge of £25 per dog per stay. We do ask that you do not let dogs on the furniture. Bringing your own dogs bed may be advisable. (Please notify us a time of booking if you would like to bring your dogs). There is also a dog friendly area that you can excersise your dog or the Tarka Trail. Please remember to keep your dogs on a lead when in communal areas.

There is a outdoor solar heated swimming pool. The holiday park has a games room, a childrens play park, shop and small bar. The bar is open from 7pm in the summer.

The Tarka trail is accessible from the park. The Tarka Trail is disused railway lines that have been turned into walkways for cycling and walking. Dogs are also welcome on the Tarka trail. There are great cafes and bike rentals all along the Tarka Trail.

Torrington is a historical town that is 3 miles from Smythan Manor. Torrington is also accessible via the Tarka Trail. There is lots todo in Torrington including Rosemoor, 1646 centre and a historical museum.  All information is available about the surrounding area from the tourist office in the park.

There are many pubs and cafes in Torrington. The Royal Exchange serves great food.  There is a cinema and arts centre called The Plough Arts Centre.  Also there is takeaways but they do not deliver.

Some of North Devons famous beachs are a short drive away. Including Instow, Woolacombe, Westward Ho! And many more.
